Shawnee Country Club
In 1965, Shawnee Country Club was developed in the picturesque Wheatfield/Pendleton countryside. The current owners continually improve conditions on the course to ensuure enjoyable & challenging golf outings.

Are you up to the challenge of the infamous Hole #3.

According to Steve Hall, Group Business Manager for Greater Niagara Newspapers who critiqued the Shawnee course in 2004, "The third hole is one of the most intimidating holes I've ever played. It's 420 yards, the first 300 of which are lined with trees on both sides and very narrow." Tim Schmitt, Managing Editor for the Tonawanda News and Hall's golf partner, wrote: "No. 3 really is one of the best local holes you can play."
"The fourth hole, a par-5, offers more fun with a lake on the left side and a creek through the fairway. You can't lose your focus, even for a minute."
"No. 6, which only plays 350 yards, has a dogleg right where you can cut quite a bit off if you're bold enough to flirt with the trees and water on the right side."

Tim Schmitt, Tonawanda News

Tim Schmitt: "You see the [score] card and assume you'll be able to pick Shawnee apart. Then you realize you better have some precise irons if you plan to hit any greens in regulation."
"...you don't know what to expect by looking at the card. With just 3,280 yards, you expect to take Shawnee to its knees. Chances are, the opposite will happen."
